Overview
This page introduces BUGdash, a web-based admin tool for managing software and viewing settings on BUG.

BUGdash is included with rootfs R1.4.3
Upgrade to rootfs R1.4.3
Don't want to upgrade but still want BUGdash? (We really recommend upgrading!)
- Open the SDK. If you need to download it please see our SDK install guide
- Download the Sewing library first.
- Then download BUGdash
Getting Started with BUGdash
- To view your BUGdash page, enter your BUG's_IP_address/admin into your browser's address bar:
- http: //BUG_IP_ADDRESS/admin
- An example of the BUGdash address is in the top circle on the BUGdash diagram.
- http: //BUG_IP_ADDRESS/admin
- If you are connected, the online buttons will be green as exemplified in the bottom red circle in the BUGdash diagram.
- If you are not connected the buttons will be yellow or red.
- To connect click the circle that says "Offline" and it will check for an Internet connection
- Don't know how to get your BUG's IP address? Look at the Start Page.
- By clicking on the More tab, you can view your BUGdash history.
- Your history will expand in a list:

- Overview
- The Overview comes up as the default screen when BUGdash is accessed.
- It displays an overview of your BUG including software version, kernel version, disk usage, BUGapps installed, IP addresses, and a list of processes.
- The Overview is shown in the BUGdash diagram to the right.

- Wish list: provide a list of services and ways to view data if applicable

- Reboots BUG. Detects the connection once it comes back up.

- Installed on your BUG: view installed apps, uninstall, and start or stop apps
- Recommended apps: display apps that are tagged with "featured" in BUGnet; provides us with a way to recommend apps to users

- Known issues: there's no refresh link for displaying results based on current module configuration; program description is displayed in Textile markup due to limited String library in PhoneME.

- The percentage doesn't reflect the progress accurately.
- Upgrade may not be successful if you have customized /etc/ipkg.conf

- Displays info regarding kernel, build, drive, memory, CPU, and partition

- Allows users to monitor concierge and messages logs-- useful for troubleshooting

- Allows users to add, update, and delete configuration entries

Developers Note
- Developed with Firefox 3.0. Other browsers are not thoroughly tested at this point.
- Not appropriate many concurrent users
- There is an option to turn on/off BUGdash in Settings menu.
