Overview

This page describes how to reset the BUG's OSGi state. BUG apps run as OSGi bundles, and the framework, Concierge, stores state such as configuration information and which bundles are loaded to the filesystem. Sometimes configurations can cause Concierge to lock up, or applications can be tagged as "dead" and fail to start. In these cases the resolution is to reset Concierge's

Reinitialize Concierge

While booting the BUG, hold down hotkey buttons 1 and 3 until the clock is visible on the base LCD. Your applications will reset after this, so if they had saved any state or data, that will be lost - for example the Camera application will lose any saved pictures.

Reinitialize Concierge and Remove Applications

While booting the BUG, hold down hotkey buttons 2 and 4 until the clock is visible on the base LCD. You will need to reinstall applications after doing this.
